NAME - Taj Mahal.
MEDIUM - White Marble from Makrana ( Rajasthan).

DESCRIPTION:-



Only Taj Mahal is considered as the wonders of the world among all other monuments of the India. Shah Jahan constructed this beautiful building in the memory of his wife Mumtaz on the bank of river Yamuna. It's Architecture Artist is Ustad Isha Ullah khan.


Taj Mahal can be seen clearly from the Red Ford of Agra. It is constructed through White marble from Makrana. Mughal Architecture used their cultural design to construct the Taj Mahal which added to its beauty.


Taj Mahal has attractive and structured minarets, tombs, Canopies, Arches and arched gates. The platform of Taj Mahal is inordinately ornamentally and engraved.


The interior arrangements of the mausoleum of the crypt below and the walled octagonal tomb chambers above with a room and each angle, all connected with corridors of the Taj Mahal.



The light to each a part of the structure of Taj Mahal is obtained by carved jalis set within the arched recesses of the interiors.



The height of Taj Mahal is 73 meters. Base length is 970 feet and widths is 365 feet. Tye surface area of the Taj Mahal is 121 square kilometres.


The type of four banishments has been used with great effect for the interior and exterior surface of the Taj Mahal.

There are some features of Taj Mahal:-

1) The delicate carving of Marble into jalis and graceful volutes.
2) the creation of arabesque with pietradura ( yellow marble, jude = reddish and jasper = green).
3) A huge fountain made up of white marble is also there.
4) The garden close to Taj Mahal has been developed in charbagh style which is the most attractive feature of Mughal Architecture.
5) Tomb stone, Geometrical design with calligraphy work and stone carving on walls.
6) Stone carving in high and low relief of the walls.
