DESCRIPTION :-

 

Male Torso is the famous artwork of Limestone and clay at the time of Indus valley civilization, Now can be seen in National Museum, New Delhi. It is the example of earliest prehistoric work. It is completely nude.  it's beautifully carved chest and done with grate plastic subtlety. Its belly is heavy. Legs, arms and head are broken. It is however surprising that the sculpture at Harappa could produce a figure s fine as  Greek artistic in 5th Century BC.
